Dr. Volkan Karabey
Volkan Karabey, who was born in Adana in 1986, graduated from Tarsus American High School in 2004. He completed his studies at Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in 2011. In the same year, he started his PhD program at the Department of Periodontology in Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry. In 2016, he was awarded the title of Periodontology doctor by completing his doctoral dissertation about the effect of periodontal treatment on salivary biomarkers in obese individuals. He participated in numerous national and international scientific congresses in the field of Periodontology and implantology. He is a member of the international associations such as ITI (International Team for Implantology) and EAO (European Association for Osseointegration). As an amateur, he is interested in photography and music.
