Panoramic Dental X-Rays

The panoramic x-rays of the lower and upper jaws help the dentist to diagnose problems about teeth or jaws. For example; only large caries can be detected by intraoral examination, while newly formed caries can be detected by panoramic x-ray. In addition, determination of abscess in the mouth, structural defects in teeth, broken roots, cysts or tumors, presence and position of permanent tooth germs under primary teeth, examination of impacted wisdom teeth, general condition of tooth roots and their relations with support bone, interproximal caries, bone measurements before implant treatment and the relationship between anatomic structes can be detected with panoramic x-rays.
