Periodontal Treatment

Periodontology is a field of dentistry which includes surgical and non-surgical treatment of the soft (periodontal ligament, gingiva) and hard tissues (bone, cementum) surrounding the teeth. It deals with the diseases that occur in these tissues such as gingivitis, chronic or agressive periodontitis, gingival recessions and gingival pocket eliminations. Bone reconstructions, dental implant placements and regenerative and resective surgeries are also performed in this field of dentistry.
